Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament goes to Turkey on a working visit

Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosu is on an official visit to Turkey at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart from January 25 to 27.

In Ankara, the head of the legislature will hold meetings with Turkish Grand National Assembly President Mustafa Shentop and Turkish MPs, with Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Denmes, Minister of Trade Mehmet Mush and representatives of Turkish business.

The main topics of talks will be the intensification of trade between the countries and Turkish investments in the Moldovan economy.

Also on the program of Grosu’s visit to Ankara is a meeting with representatives of the Moldovan diaspora.

The Moldovan parliament speaker is accompanied on the trip by members of the parliamentary group of friendship with Turkey and the commission on economy, budget and finance – Fedor Gagauz, Radu Marian, Sergiu Lazarencu and Larisa Novak.
